And I heard a voice from Heaven, as the voice of many waters and as the voice of the great thunder; and I heard the voice of harpers harping with harps. And they sang as it were a new song before the throne (Rev. 14: 2,3). What a blessed day that will be when all God’s children will sit around His throne and sing as though it were a new song giving praises to Him for all eternity. No one can comprehend all the promises that God has in store for His children who have obeyed and followed His blessed commands.
Speaking to yourselves in hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord (Ephesians 5:19,20). Highway to Heaven was created to inspire and evoke passion in our hearts to sing songs of praises predicated on God’s word in preparation for all the joy and peace we will receive in Heaven.
Songstress and songwriter, Carole Obrecht, was given a gift from God to write over 500 contemporary religious congregational hymns and medleys. Carole’s revelation of songs began after her near deathbed experience in the hospital in 2010, for 43 days. After overcoming this life experience, Doctors would later call her “miracle patient.” Carole graciously thanks Dr. Brian Casey, who tirelessly worked many hours to provide her with song compositions and arrangements. Carole said, “Without God’s guidance this may not have been possible.” What a remarkable team God has created. We know by faith all things are possible by God. Carole has prayerfully selected 350 favorite songs for her special edition songbook.
Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord (Colossians 3:16). Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, whom there is no variables, neither shadow of turning (James 1:17), amen.
